Pick a plan

On its own, a typical original game here gets about 5 plays a week, and the top 10% get 42 or more. A boost puts yours in front of players with a set number of plays. One payment per boost, in US dollars, and a play is counted like the play counts on the rest of Foundplay. See what counts as a play.

Free boosts wait in line

Due to overwhelming demand from paying creators, free boosts now wait in line: paid boosts are served first. Until they're done, free boosts get only the spots paid boosts can't use, front of the line first; then they run fully.

List an original game, or claim yours if it's already on Foundplay, and it gets in line for a free boost of 10 plays. Sign in with your email. One per email, and we email you when it starts.

Want plays now? Skip the line for $10.

How it works

  1. Pick a plan and pay

Choose a plan for a game that's listed on Foundplay and pay on Stripe's checkout page. Not listed yet? Submitting is free.

  2. We review it

Every game is checked automatically. If the check isn't sure, a person looks, usually within a day. Your plan's days start when it goes live.

  3. Get plays, or the rest back

Your game shows in sponsored spots, always labelled Sponsored. Follow the plays on your boost page. Any we don't deliver in time are refunded automatically.

Where sponsored games show

Foundplay picks the spots from your game's genres. Every one is labelled Sponsored.

  • Your genre's game pages

In the game grids on your game's genre pages, and on Browse when it's filtered to one of them.

    BoostLaunchTakeover

  • The top of matching searches

In search results, when the words searched match your game.

Questions

What counts as a play?
A click on Play from a sponsored spot. It counts the way our public play counts do: once per game per network a day, and only if the click starts on a Foundplay page. Repeat clicks don't use up your plays. A click on Play on your game's page counts too, when the visitor came from a sponsored spot.
What if you don't deliver the plays?
Whatever isn't delivered by the end of the plan's days is refunded automatically, in proportion. Get 96 of 120 plays on the Boost plan and $2 comes back. The refund goes to the card you paid with, and banks can take 5 to 10 days to show it.
Who will see my game?
We pick by your game's genres, with nothing to set up. It shows on those genre pages and in searches that match it. Launch and Takeover also put it next to similar games and on the home page. Every boost can also take the home page and spots next to similar games when no plan that includes them needs them, and boosts that are behind schedule show more often, so each one can deliver on time.
How do I get players for my browser game?
Listing a game on Foundplay is free. A Boost adds sponsored spots and a set number of plays: 120 plays in 5 days for $10, up to 15,000 plays in 14 days for $1,000. Any plays we don't deliver in time are refunded. Submit a game
Is there a free trial?
There's a free boost, and it waits in line. Due to overwhelming demand from paying creators, free boosts now wait in line: paid boosts are served first. Until they're done, free boosts get only the spots paid boosts can't use, front of the line first; then they run fully. When you list an original game with an email account, or claim one that's already listed, it gets in line for 10 free plays from sponsored spots, one per email. We email you when it starts and what it got, and the line is live at /boost/queue. See the line
Do I pay for views?
No, you pay for plays. We also count how many times your game was shown and tell you, but only plays are guaranteed.
Which games can be boosted?
Any game listed on Foundplay that you made or have the right to promote. Fan games and copies of big franchises, gambling, adult content and token sales aren't allowed. A game whose link is down can't be boosted until it works again. Not listed yet? Submit it first. It's free. Submit a game
Does Foundplay host my game?
No. Foundplay is a discovery platform for free browser games. Play sends visitors to your own site, and we can't see what they do there.
Is my game reviewed?
Yes. Every boost is reviewed automatically after you pay. If the review isn't sure, a person checks it, usually within a day. If it's turned down, you get a full refund.
When does it start?
Once it passes review, usually right after you pay. The plan's days count from then, not from when you paid. A boost that waits for a person starts when they approve it.
How do I pay, and do I get a receipt?
You pay on Stripe's checkout page, so your card details never reach Foundplay. Stripe sends a receipt to the email on your account. We email you when your boost goes live, when it ends and about any refund, and your boost page shows plays as they come in.
Do I need an account?
Yes, a free one. You sign in with your email when you buy, so we can send your receipt and results.

The full rules are in the Boost section of the terms.

Several games, a longer run, or something the plans don't cover? Leave your email and a few words about what you have in mind, and we'll write back.

No commitment. We'll only email you about this.

Numbers come from Foundplay's own visit counter and update every few minutes. A visitor is one person on one day. The last 24 hours is a rolling day; visitors a day averages the last three whole days and plays a day the last seven, all rounded down. Plays per listing count original games over the last 7 days. Shares are of the last seven days of visits, and country shares count only visits whose country is known.
