Nintendo 64 games you can play in your browser, no ROM needed

28 games · Updated October 7, 2026 · Most played first

Fans have decompiled many Nintendo 64 games and rebuilt them for the browser. The clean-room builds here redraw every texture and sound, so they need no ROM: open the page and play, with on-screen controls on phones.

That includes GoldenEye 007, Super Mario 64, Mario Kart 64, Majora's Mask, Banjo-Kazooie, Star Fox 64 and F-Zero X.

Questions

Do I need a ROM?
Not for the clean-room builds: they regenerate the game's art and sound from the decompiled code, so no ROM is needed. Ship of Harkinian (Ocarina of Time) asks for your own ROM, and its description says so.
Are these official?
No. They're fan-made ports, decompilations and remakes, not made or endorsed by the original publishers. Fan ports sometimes get taken down, so play them while they're up.
Can I play them on a phone?
Games marked Phone-friendly have touch controls. The rest need a keyboard, so they're best on a computer.
